Chelsea face Arsenal in the community shield this Sunday at Wembley, which will be Petr Cech’s first appearance against his former club since his £11million move. But before the game happens, Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho had a few words for the goalkeeper.
While to Shaka Hislop for ESPN, Mourinho revealed that he didn’t want to let the Cech move to a rival, but eventually granted his wish, claiming that his loyalty with the club earned him the move he wanted. Although he wasn’t too impressed with the Czech international.
It’s a decision that for example John Terry would never make, because for him (it would be) impossible to play against another Premier League club.
