Southampton’s continuous rise from League One to the one of the Premier League's most exciting sides has been nothing short of sensational.
They’ve not only achieved such success through carefully thought out recruitment, but also with a lot of emphasis on utilising their youth academy. The Saints’ impressive showing over recent years hasn't gone unnoticed though, and many of their best players have now been sold to bigger clubs.
The likes of Arsenal’s Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain made the cut, Gareth Bale would be in the team, though unfortunately he can't change nationality, but the Real Madrid star was another Southampton youth product.
The Saints’ youth academy appears to be going from strength to strength every season, and of course the England team just continues to underwhelm everyone. So how would an all-Southampton XI from now on. Each player has come through the ranks or through the leagues with the club.
